My new favorite song

I have this new but old band I want you all to check out. It has been around for about 14 years, here a little, there a little. They had a big reunion this weekend and came up with some amazing stuff. I personally absolutely love the song Don't Let Go. It has a lot of personal meaning for me. It is hands down my new favorite song. I think these guys are awesome and their talent truly amazes me. I am completely and totally in love with the lead singer. His voice has a way of melting me. Some of you may know them by their original name The Chimney Sweeps, they now like to call themselves SilentMonk. Spring Break

First of all I have to say what a gorgeous day it is in Seattle today. It is 76 today. I have all the windows and doors open and the boys have been outside the entire day. They of course are begging to have a water fight. I'm not so interested in cleaning up the mess. I love the sun and I love this weather. It makes me want summer so bad. Tomorrow it is suppose to be only 58 with showers. :( I am definitely sucking it all in today. It is amazing how the sun and the warmth can make us all so HAPPY.
Great Wolf Lodge was a blast. It was so much fun for all of us. I of course was stressing for the past three weeks leading up to this that I was huge and didn't want anyone to see me in a swimsuit. When I got there I was relieved of my worries and was reminded that not many people have perfect little bodies. Nonetheless I was so thankful I didn't see anyone I know. The boys had a blast and can't wait for the cousins to come and visit so we can go again. Kiegan and Jonah loved all the water slides and were even brave enough to go on the Howlin' Tornado. It is a 6 story funnel, so imagine getting flushed down an enormous toilet. Fun huh? They loved it and couldn't get enough of the 6 water slides. There was a wave pool and then also another pool that had a huge floating snake, beaver, and lily pads to climb and play on. At the one end of that pool was a whole section of basketball hoops. If there is anything to complain about I can only think of two.....I will get to the second one later, but the first being there wasn't really just a hang out float around pool. The basketball/floating animal pool was the only one to just float in and after awhile there were to many kids splashing around. I personally think a lazy river would have topped everything off. It doesn't really matter though because everything else was so much fun. They have this 4 story treehouse water fort that you can do a million different things including two slides. These two slides K & J loved to race on. At the top is this enormous bucket (48 ft tall) that holds 1000 gallons of water and dumps on everyone below every few minutes. The boys all loved this. There were a couple times that they almost lost their swimsuits from the bucket dumping. That was always a good laugh. Then they had a smaller area with a small slide and lots of things to spray each other and run through. It is mainly for smaller kids but all the boys enjoyed it. It was really great and we all were completely wasted by the time we got home. The only other thing I have to complain about is a personal problem. Yes, a prego personal problem. I've never experienced before the difficulty of trying to pull a very wet swimsuit on over a very wet large body. It was ridiculous. It seriously took me like 5 min. I know not the mental picture you want to have but if it was appropriate I could have definitely won on Funniest Home Videos. The rooms, service, and food were all great. I definitely recommend to everyone that lives close to one to go. It was the perfect two day get a way. We can't wait to go back this fall.
I have mixed emotions with Spring Break ending. I am definitely glad to have the boys back in school and being back on schedules. Yet I'm sad that this is the last break before baby comes. Breaks and vacations will be different from here on out with a little extra one in the mix. In the end this was a great Spring Break week and we were able to do alot of fun things and also get a ton of stuff checked off of the to do list. It was a success.

Mind Drama

I just got home from my ultrasound and NST. Everything went great. Belle is doing awesome and growing. She is now 3 lb 5 oz. YEAH!!! I've been so nervous since they have always told me she would come early and then when there was the little scare that she would come too early. Now that it is down to 8 weeks I'm totally freaked out about what early really means. Is it within the next week or so or do I have 4-6 weeks left to go, do I wash all the clothes now or do I wait? Do I make Tony haul up the crib and get it all ready or do I give him a break and wait a couple weeks? This whole limbo thing is killing me. I don't like the unknown. I tried to explain my mind drama to the Dr. today and asked her what she thought and she said because Belle is looking so great and the placenta isn't looking worse, she doesn't think she will come as early as they thought. She mentioned it looks more like 2 weeks early. It was a nice sigh of relief. Then she proceeds to look over the charts and says but I want to start seeing you twice a week. UGGGH!! Lucky me right? So now I will be having two NST's a week, one ultrasound, and my regular appointment also. Three separate times at the hospital. I'm seriously thinking of asking if they have a room to rent. Please don't get me wrong, I love to see Belle every week and of course I don't like surprises. And this should cause less mind drama right? But three days trying to find parking at the hospital, not fun.

Enough about that, I especially enjoyed conference this weekend. I do admit that I find I pay more attention if my hands are busy. I've been wanting to make some really cute burp pads and finally did it. Here are the three different designs I made. I made more of the fabric ones but decided I need to make more ribbon ones now since they turned out so cute. It is on my list of projects to do while Tony is away. He will be gone four days next week and then four days the following also. :( :(

The boys have spring break this week and we are heading to Great Wolf Lodge tomorrow. It's this really great lodge with a whole indoor water park. We are all very excited about it. I'm not so excited about bearing my very prego self to the world. But I am very excited about this little adventure with just the boys before Belle comes. I'll let you know how it went when we get back!

I love my boys!

I don't just love them, I absolutely adore them. I love being a mom. I love that they all say I'm their best friend. I love Kiegan's little tiny freckles he is getting on his cheeks. I want to kiss them all. I love that Tate wants to marry me when he grows up. I love when Jonah is so proud of himself and his eyes glow with that big toothless smile. Some times it drives me crazy that Jonah is a perfectionist, but on the other hand I love that he wants to be the best he can be and that he has so much confidence in himself. I love to see them each growing up in their own different ways and stages. I love to listen to them pretend and make believe. I love it when they are all smashed on the couch or lined up on their bellies on the floor reading together. Their love for each other melts my heart. I love that they love me unconditional. They love me even with all my faults. I love that they are so completely in love with Belle. They constantly have their little hands on my belly pushing on her and trying to figure out what body part they are feeling. I love that they all want to be like Tony but all in their own different ways. Kiegan really wants to play the guitar like Tony and constantly has the guitar in his hands making up random songs and tunes. Jonah loves sports and is constantly asking Tony to do one thing or another with him. And little Tate.......I think he just wants to be the funny guy just like his dad. I am so thankful to have such wonderful boys. Tate came running out of the other room from being with the boys yelling Kiegan said a bad word, Kiegan said a bad word. When we asked him what Kiegan said he replied, Kiegan said he didn't want to go to school. I was so relieved it wasn't something else. We couldn't help but laugh and jokingly tell Kiegan those were horrible words and he should be a better example. I am truly thankful for my little family. I am blogging this so that on those days when I am feeling so overwhelmed I can look back and remember how great I really do have it. I could go on forever on all the ways I love my boys but I won't bore you anymore. I think my boys are pretty awesome.
